Day 1 – Saturday, April 18, 2026

 

7:00 AM – Depart St. Clair, PA
Board your client-arranged motorcoach for the journey south.

11:30 AM – Arrive at the National Museum of the Marine Corps – Quantico, VA
Enjoy lunch on your own at the museum’s acclaimed Tunable Café.


12:30 PM – Marine Corps Experience
Step into the life of a Marine as you:

  • Enter a replica recruiting station

  • Board a bus to “boot camp”

  • Stand at attention on the iconic yellow footprints

  • Hear the thunderous voice of a drill instructor

Explore immersive exhibits that tell the story of how diverse young Americans are shaped into disciplined Marines, forming lifelong bonds of brotherhood and honor. Gain a deeper understanding of the Marine Corps and its proud motto:
Semper Fidelis – Always Faithful.


2:30 PM – Depart for Virginia Beach

12:30 PM – Guided Tour of Historic Tuckahoe
Arrive at Tuckahoe Plantation, the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson and a designated National Historic Landmark.

  • Nestled on a scenic bluff above the James River, this estate was built between 1730 and 1740 by the Randolph family

  • Explore the Georgian-style plantation house, still surrounded by many of its original outbuildings and gardens
